Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.
Medical Front Office/Client Services - Part Time - needed for a busy, high quality, four doctor AAHA practice in the Memorial area. Our mission is to provide exceptional veterinary care for our patients and to provide outstanding service to our clients. Routine responsibilities include: answering the phone, scheduling appointments, checking in and discharging patients, receiving client payments, running daily reports in AVIMARK, client communication through e-mail and phone calls, scanning relevant information into patient charts in AVIMARK, and much more. Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.
Licensed Veterinary Technician - Full Time: Full Time LVT for busy AAHA-Accredited practice. We are looking to add a full-time experienced LVT to our four-doctor, small animal practice. Applicants must have a great work ethic, excellent communication skills, as well as strive for exceptional nursing care. Technician duties include radiology, dentistry, anesthetic monitoring, laboratory and pharmacy procedures, client education, sample collection and exam room assistance.
